On April 26, C.A.T.S. (Campus Activity Team for Students) held a pizza night for evening students at the Mount's Gardner Campus.
The event was between 5 to 6 p.m. but the 14 pizza's for students attending class that night were gone by 5:30 p.m.
Sandra L. Arsenault, the student activities program assistant, said that this event has been going on for so long she doesn't remember whose idea it originally was. Arsenault also mentioned that C.A.T.S. tries to also reach out to evening students at the Mount's other campuses.
"We usually don't give out pizza at the other campuses; we give out other treats," said Arsenault.
Arsenault also mentioned that this type of event is voted for by students. The SGA puts it on the ballot for students to vote on and it is always popular.
Similar events that the C.A.T.S. is in charge of include Mardi Gras, Mocktails, and Scary Karaoke. If you are interested in becoming involved, contact Arsenault at sarsenault@mwcc.edu.
