I would like to thank you and your staff for providing the MWCC community with a forum for news and ideas. I am pleased that the paper is coming out every other week and impressed with the stories you cover. I have also noticed a huge improvement in the quality of writing in the paper. I realize that the Observer is an entirely student-run publication and that each issue is an open lab where students learn the art and craft of newspaper writing and publishing. We all learn by mistakes and by successes. Of course, there are risks in allowing us to participate, as readers, in this great experiment. Thank you for taking the risks and, at the same time, giving students a voice and creating a greater sense of community and purpose.
